The chat on this forum (not the Xat or Chatango chatrooms on the main site) follows the same rules as the Xat and Chatangos but is more adequate for roleplaying and as such is recommended for such a thing. You can use it for general chatting as well, if you wish.

The following is a list of chat commands

/me (whatever) Ideal command for Roleplaying!
/exit (reason) Disconnect from the Chatbox. Adding the reason you are leaving is optional.
/abs (reason) Send a message noticing that you're absent. Adding a reason is optional.

The following is a list of chat mod commands

/kick (username) Disconnect a member from the Chatbox. Disconnecting a member won't prevent him from reconnecting.
/ban (username) Ban a member from the Chatbox. Once a user is banned, he won't see or have access to the Chatbox.
/unban (username) Unban a member from the Chatbox.
